Rock the Dress with Mrs. G

Another new concept! I'm sure by now that most of you have heard of a trend called "Trash the Dress" and it's slightly less destructive sister, "Rock the Dress". The objective of a shoot like this is to let loose and have fun in your wedding dress while capturing some great images.

The images below are from a shoot I did with Amanda yesterday afternoon. Our sets included a motorcycle (requested by Amanda's husband!), a LRT station, and a little bit of downtown grunge. Amanda was a trooper and braved less than ideal temperatures (-10) to rock her dress! It was an awesome shoot!

Now for my final thought for this blog post...I am going to be involved in a fundraiser coming up on May 15th called Rock the Dress for Breast Cancer! A bunch of photographers in Edmonton are getting together to raise funds for the Relay for Life. The shoots will be $100 for 45 minutes with all proceeds going to the cause.
