The ceremony took place in a little town just north of LA called Santa Paula. The traveling families had taken over one of the local inns, so we spent the morning there getting some shots of the preparations. We then took the 2 block sprint to the church where the ceremony took place. Afterwards we took a bit of a drive and stopped in a few places for creative photos along the winding California highways and ended up in the town of Ojai, where the reception was taking place. The reception was something entirely new for us...being that it was outside!!! That's right Edmonton, outside in April! There were many fabulous opportunities for photos as the sun began to set and the twinkling overhead lights came on.
This was one of those days where I constantly found myself holding my breath. If not for the beauty around me, than for the abundance of love and happiness. It was a beautiful wedding, in a fantastic place, with wonderful people. We are so thankful to Francis & Jenny for including us in this wonderful celebration! We only hope that you love these photos as much as we do!
